About the Course:
Since elementary, we've been taught a plethora of subjects ranging from humanities to sciences. However, we are never taught how to learn or study.
As I proceeded through middle and high school, my courses naturally became much more difficult, and I began to spend increasingly large volumes of time studying. I reached a point where I was so inundated in work that I hardly had time at the end of the day for myself. Several of my friends faced similar difficulties, and were forced to drop out of certain classes due to the immense workload.
After struggling for a few months, my frustrations surged as my grades waned. I knew I wouldn’t improve if I continued using my traditional study methods (rereading, highlighting, etc), so I searched for a more effective way to study. Furthermore, to avoid following red herrings across the internet, I made sure to find techniques that were researched and supported by irrefutable evidence.
Over the course of four years, I cut down my studying time by two hours, while simultaneously increasing my grades. My courses had not become any easier; if anything, high school courses progressively became much more difficult. Instead, I finally knew how to study effectively and efficiently.
The gap from elementary to middle school is quite challenging, the distance between middle to high school even more so. This course is designed to ease that transition by arming you with the tools you need to overcome these difficulties and get the grades you desire.
